The new restaurants, located in North Greenbush in Rensselaer County and Clifton Park in Saratoga County, will both open on Thursday, July 20, the company announced.

Founded in the early 1960s, Chick-fil-A is best known for its original chicken sandwich, made with a lightly breaded chicken breast with two pickle chips between a toasted, buttery bun.

The eatery serves up a half dozen chicken sandwich varieties, along with nuggets, chicken strips, and a wrap served with avocado lime ranch dressing.

Employees are known for skipping the “you’re welcome” to thankful customers, opting instead to say, “my pleasure.”

The new restaurants, which are both locally owned and operated, are expected to create more than 100 jobs.

The Clifton Park restaurant is located at 304 Clifton Park Center Road, and the North Greenbush store can be found at 502 North Greenbush Road.
